Registration begins on August 3, and boats will head out to sea between August 4-6 until the final awards on the 7th. 

Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore

From October 20-23, the Los Cabos Offshore is often viewed as a kickoff to the main Black & Blue Tournament, but it’s not one to overlook. As competitors gather in Los Cabos, this Bisbee fishing tournament becomes a very social event with two days for boats to cast their lines out. From the weigh-in station on the pier to the prize ceremony at the end, it’s a time for fishers to meet up, trade stories, and get a feel for the water before the main Cabo San Lucas fishing tournament kicks off. 

Bisbee’s Black & Blue

The Bisbee’s fishing tournament that is one of the most highly-anticipated Cabo San Lucas upcoming events is the Black & Blue Marlin Tournament, and it’s not just fishing teams who get excited for the action. From October 19-23, thousands of onlookers head to the Cabo Marina to watch teams haul in their catches and hold their breath to see how much they weigh. This tournament has some of the biggest payouts in the world, giving teams millions of dollars to compete for. This past year, the film Blue Miracle highlighted the story of some underdog winners of the 2014 tournament: a group of orphans and their caregiver from the local Casa Hogar. This team unexpectedly caught a 385-pound blue marlin, winning them $258,325, all of which was used to improve the orphanage. To this day, Casa Hogar is one of the Bisbee’s Fishing Tournament Los Cabos charities.
