She’s also the first African-American to win the Food Network Star competition, and she’s gone on to compete on more shows with other food celebrity chefs, open her own restaurant, and even cook for former president Barack Obama. She’ll be helping make Cuisine of the Sun one of the top gastronomic events in Cabo by sharing her signature dishes and techniques during entertaining poolside classes in the afternoons. Joining her are Rahm Fama and Benjamin Udave. Fama is famous for his love of meat, which extends beyond the dish. His obsession with finding the perfect cut and studying cuisine across the US turned into his own Food Network show: Meat & Potatoes. Chef Fama will be bringing his culinary curiosity and skills to Cuisine of the Sun to make it one of the premier gastronomic events along with chef Benjamin Udave. Udave, who’s been studying the culinary arts in the US and England, believes he will always be a student of food, combining the latest food experiences and trends with classic traditions.
