Villa La Estancia Cabo Wins Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice

Tripadvisor just rolled out their 2020 Travelers Choice hotel awards, listing not only those with superb reviews from travelers, but also highlighting the top achieving establishments in each award category. This year, Villa La Estancia Cabo received not only a Travelers’ Choice Award, formerly known as a Certificate of Excellence, but also one of their highest recognitions, a Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best award as the 22nd on a list of the Top 25 Hotels in Mexico. The shortlist, identifies “the highest-rated stays around the world,” according to the travel site, and while this isn’t the first Tripadvisor awards the resort has received, it is special given that it comes based on the reviews of those who have stayed at the resort.

While Tripadvisor has long been recognizing excellence in the tourism industry, this year’s Tripadvisor awards categories underwent a makeover as the company did away with their Certificates of Excellence and moved onto two new award titles, a Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award, and their elite category, the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best. With a variety of diverse categories that cover everything from the best family hotels to the best restaurants around the world, these awards serve to inform travelers of the places they can expect the highest quality service and experiences.
